About Me

Hi, my name is Trevor Schwall, a licensed independent social worker. I have professional experience in both psychotherapy and care coordination working primarily with adolescents, families, and adults who have experienced challenges with mental health, trauma, and substance-use disorders. Many individuals I have worked with have also had complex needs and have been involved in various systems such as child welfare or the justice system. I take pride in the positive impact and outcomes of the individuals I have served and look forward to the work I get to do everyday. My goal is to someday transform my private practice into a thriving non-profit community mental health agency.

I have entered this field because of my own past experiences with mental health and the people that have helped me along the way. My dream is to be able to help others achieve their goals and live the life that they want to live like how others have helped me do the same. I love going on hikes with my dog, Penny, spending time with the people (and animals) that I am close to, and playing video games in my spare time. I am always trying to learn new things and hearing others’ stories!

“Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can’t always see the light at the end, but if you just keep moving you will come to a better place.”
